The categories we use

Analytics. Used to measure how the Site is used so we can improve it. In the EEA and the UK, analytics cookies load only after you accept them. Elsewhere they operate under an opt-out model, and you can turn them off at any time.
We use no advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not build profiles for third-party advertising.

Ahrefs Web Analytics is also used for aggregate traffic measurement. It is cookieless and does not store cookies or identify you individually, so it is not listed above.
Consent and Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2 so that Google Analytics respects your choice. Before any analytics tag runs, consent for analytics and advertising signals is set to a default state. For visitors in the EEA and the UK, that default is "denied," and analytics runs only after you accept through our banner. For other visitors, analytics is enabled by default under an opt-out model, and you can opt out at any time. We run no advertising tags, so the advertising signals remain off. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out where that applies.
How to manage your choices

- In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may affect how the Site works.
